You must not:

Sell, rent, lease, license, sublicense, or distribute MedCoded materials
Share purchased digital products with individuals who did not purchase them
Upload MedCoded materials to public websites, shared drives, social media, forums, or online marketplaces
Use MedCoded materials to create competing products, trainings, templates, or services
Remove copyright notices, watermarks, branding, or proprietary notices
Present MedCoded materials as your own original work
Modify MedCoded materials for the purpose of resale or redistribution
Use MedCoded materials in a way that violates applicable laws, payer rules, coding guidelines, or compliance standards
Any unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, or resale of MedCoded materials may result in termination of access and may subject you to legal action.
License for Purchased Materials
When you purchase a digital product from MedCoded, you receive a limited license to use the product for your own personal, professional, educational, or internal business purposes.
This license does not allow you to:
Transfer the product to another person or organization
Share the product with employees, contractors, students, clients, or team members unless the product was specifically purchased for multi-user use
Use the product as part of your own paid training, consulting service, course, or product offering
Repackage or rebrand the product as your own
Sell or distribute the product in whole or in part
If you need a team, organization, school, or multi-user license, you must contact MedCoded for written permission and licensing terms.
No Transfer of Ownership
All MedCoded content and digital products remain the sole property of MedCoded. No purchase, download, access, or use of any product shall be interpreted as a transfer, assignment, or sale of ownership rights.
You acknowledge that MedCoded retains all copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, proprietary rights, and other intellectual property rights in its materials.
Unauthorized Sharing or Misuse
MedCoded reserves the right to monitor for unauthorized sharing, copying, resale, or misuse of its digital products and materials.
If MedCoded determines that a product has been improperly shared, copied, distributed, resold, or misused, MedCoded may revoke access without refund and pursue any available legal or equitable remedies.
You agree that unauthorized use of MedCoded materials may cause harm to MedCoded and that MedCoded may seek injunctive relief, damages, attorney’s fees, and other remedies where permitted by law.
Refunds for Digital Products
Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of downloadable or electronic products are final unless otherwise stated in a separate refund policy.
Once a digital product has been purchased, accessed, downloaded, or delivered, refunds may not be available.
Accuracy of Educational and Coding Materials
MedCoded strives to provide accurate and helpful educational, coding, CDI, auditing, and compliance-related materials. However, MedCoded does not guarantee that all information will remain current, complete, or applicable to every situation.
Medical coding, billing, CDI, reimbursement, payer requirements, and healthcare compliance standards may change over time. Users are responsible for verifying information against current official guidelines, payer policies, facility policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
